Charleston House and garden

The Sussex farmhouse and garden created by Vanessa Bell (sister of Virginia Woolf) and Duncan Grant became the country meeting place for the group of artists, writers and intellectuals known as Bloomsbury.

The interior forms a unique example of their decorative style.

The gardener is Harry Hoblyn and you can read how he is restoring the borders of the wall garden on their blog.
